Dr Shyam Swain MD is a board-certified anesthesiologist and an interventional pain specialist practicing pain management in Hernando and Pasco County since 1996.
He performs all interventional pain procedures and injections at his state-of-the-art office at 7105 Mariner Blvd. Spring hill, Fl and 7426 community Ct, Hudson, Florida, as well as different area hospitals in Hernando and Pasco County.
He completed his Anesthesiology Residency from Montefiore Medical Center & Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York in1996.

Prior to starting his residency in Anesthesiology, he obtained his Master of Surgery degree from prestigious Postgraduate Institute Medical Education and Research (PGI) Chandigarh in 1981 and was Chief surgeon at Central Hospital of Coal India, Gandhinagar, Ranchi for more than 10 years.
While in Ranchi he was the program director for first year surgical residents and taught medical students & residents.
He has delivered numerous lectures in different forums and was the recipient of best research paper of Association of Surgeons of India at Gaya conference.
