Dr Shyam Swain MD is a board-Certified anesthesiologist and Board-certified pain specialist practicing in Hernando and Pasco County since 1996.

He has extensive training in aesthetics and Laser procedures by Empire Medical Training and the National Laser Institute.

He completed his four-year Anesthesiology Residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine & Montefiore Medical Center in New York in 1996.

Before starting his residency in Anesthesiology, he obtained his Master of Surgery degree from the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh in 1981 and served as Chief Surgeon at the Central Hospital of Coal India in Gandhinagar, Ranchi, for over 10 years.

He has delivered numerous lectures in different forums and was the recipient of the best research paper of the Association of Surgeons of India at the Gaya conference.
